The Beckley Area Foundation manages over 115 scholarship funds established by individuals,
firms and organizations wanting to assist WV residents in obtaining a college education. Each scholarship application has
specific eligibility criteria defined by the donor when the fund was established. To access individual scholarship

is Wednesday, April 2nd. Read carefully and follow the specific application guidelines. See your guidance
counselor for application materials.
General criteria that apply to most funds include:

Must be a WV resident

Must be a full time student (12 hours minimum)

Must demonstrate academic achievement (at least 2.5), unless otherwise specified
by a particular fund

Must demonstrate good moral character
